3.Testing and Protecting Power-consuming Devices: Even if the power supply is theoretically pure, there may still be noise and ripple in practical applications. Therefore, it is necessary to test the power supply to ensure it meets the equipment's ripple and noise tolerance limits. In addition, measures should be taken to protect power-consuming devices from damage due to over-voltage and over-current.
When designing the power supply, factors such as the quality of power supply components, the power supply topology structure, control and regulation technology, power loss and power consumption, heat dissipation and temperature control management, and regular maintenance and inspection should also be considered.
To test the performance and quality of the power supply, tools such as oscilloscopes and DC power analyzers can be used to measure and analyze the ripple of the DC output signal (RMS value and peak-to-peak value), efficiency, and frequency response.
Through the above stages and measures, a pure DC power supply that meets the requirements of electronic equipment can be obtained, ensuring the performance and stability of the devices.
